The Polonsky Academy building is situated on the cliff facing south towards the Jerusalem Theater. Its northern side faces the Main Garden Court which will function as the heart of the campus in the new master plan. This court has two levels, with a one storey differential between them which makes it possible to create two entrances to the structure on different levels: main entrance near the Van Leer Institute and secondary entrance near the Council for Higher Education.

The court house is located id downtown haifa, at the foot of Mount Carmel. The building has two lengthwise facades Mt. Carmel as wall as an Artists’ Colony planned along the length of the street behind it. It has two entrances, in its two narrow sides. The main entrance is from a central plaza and the other is from a secondary plaza. The building is designed in the form of two structural masses with a monumental public space between them that constitutes both a continuation and a conclusion of the main pedestrian path in the complex. These two structural masses represent and acommodate the court house’s two main activities: its judiciary activity and its administrative activity. The two masses are different in design and are adapted to their specific designations. The two masses are different in design and are adapted to their specific designations. the building’s cladding consists mainly of stones of different sizes and textures, and incorporates exposed concrete, aluminium and glass.
